Instructions for installing Lineage 2 HD:

  1. Download the Lineage 2 C5 client from one of two sources: FilePlanet or BitTorrent
  2. Once downloaded install the C5 client to its default location.
  3. Create an account using the Account Creation link above.
  4. Download l2driven.rar to your desktop. Extract the files within and run L2DRIVEN.EXE. (Vista users: you will need to run this as Administrator for it to work)
  5. To avoid auto-updating, DO NOT run the shortcut to Lineage 2. Instead, create a shortcut to c:\Program Files\Lineage 2\System\l2.exe and run this shortcut. If you have installed the C5 client to another location, ensure that you are running the \lineage2\System\l2.exe file or the client will not work.
  6. Log in using the account you created earlier and have fun!
